In conjunction with the launch of its fifth mentoring program for women in the finance industry, Women in Finance (NSW) is proud to host a panel discussion with three highly successful individuals. Steve Sargent is the Chief Executive Officer of GE Australia and New Zealand, overseeing GE's six business units and acting as GE's national executive in the region. In addition to the role, Steve is President and CEO of GE Commercial Finance, Australia and New Zealand, one of GE's largest businesses globally as well as locally. Steve Sargent has had a long career in the financial services industry globally. Starting with Westpac here in Australia and in New York, he joined GE Capital in the US 15 years ago. Steve will discuss GE's approach to leadership, how GE drives a performance culture, and where he sees the growth opportunities in the Australian market.
